This historic home in Chevy Chase was a stunner on the outside, but the cool couple who moved in needed help bringing life to the interior. And with their first baby on the way, they knew they needed their home to work for children.

Drawing inspiration from desert colors, Kerra used earthy greens and blues mixed with sandy neutrals to create a warm, inviting home for this cool family of three. In addition to the foyer, living room, family room, play room, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast nook on the first floor, Kerra worked her magic upstairs to give the new parents a restful master sanctuary, while the new addition received a special nursery all her own.
