This family of four with rambunctious boys and an adorable dog came to Kerra needing a fresh look, but with a couple non-negotiables: it had to be bright and cheerful, and everything had to stand up to the heavy use of the kids and dog. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Kerra took their needs and transformed this cute craftsman bungalow into a bright and comfortable haven that solved all the family’s storage needs — and made the house look twice the size in the process. Using her client’s recent trip to a beach resort in Mexico as inspiration, Kerra brought in oceanside colors and patterns to liven up the space, and create a space that would be as playful as it is relaxing.
