A Chevy Chase Family Gets A Casual + Cool Makeover

#TheOneWithTheTiniestClient

I’m so excited to share this project! This is definitely one of my favorites I’ve ever done — not just because it’s beautiful, but because my clients are absolute GEMS.

Let me just start by saying that my clients’ wedding was literally in BRIDES magazine, and they are infinitely cool, so I knew from the first moment I met them that this house had to be UHMAYZING. I mean, just look at these two…

I die. Jenny is Vice President of Retail at Framebridge and Dhruva is CEO at Fastrope. They are a power couple and also #relationshipgoalz

And as if that weren’t fabulous enough, our most pregnant client went and had the most perfect baby and I simply didn’t know what to do with myself.

I mean, now you know where this project’s hashtag came from. Hello world, meet Ruby, then melt.

Ok now that I’ve obsessed over someone else’s baby (and just someone else’s life in general), let me show you the house! The house is a historic one, located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, so it had amazing bones. All I had to do was come in and make it pretty!

Here’s what the house looked like BEFORE:

Agh! Do you love it??? Because I LOVE IT. Sidebar: Lunchbox graced us all with her presence during the photo shoot, which is frankly reason enough to look at the photo album. (She’s my fur-baby, in case you didn’t know.)

Do you want to see more? Comment below and tell me which room is your favorite, and that’s the room I’ll showcase on the blog first. And by showcase, I mean I’ll tell you where I bought things and post lots more photos of all the pretty details. YAY. (You can also see more photos of Aspen Street in my portfolio.)

Oh, and if you really really really love it, please share it with all your friends! I’m always accepting new clients, whether it be for Full-Service or E-Design — and posting pretty photos of pretty homes on social media makes you look savvy and shows off your great taste. Win-win.
