This historic Dupont Circle Rowhome is home to a vibrant family of four, but with two young boys and several dogs as part of the equation, their final design had to be as family-friendly as it was exuberant.
Kerra took the first floor down to the studs to create a functional living, dining, and cooking space for her clients, and used the vast collection of souvenirs and artwork brought back from travels around the world as inspiration for the patterns and colors in her design. The kitchen is the crown jewel of the space, with chef-grade appliances — including a custom copper range and hood — and a custom-dyed backsplash designed by Kerra herself, laid out in a motif she carries through the home in fabric, rugs, and accessories.
